1. The National Conference
Since 1956 NACBA has been providing a top-level continuing-education program through its annual national conference. The national conference provides intensive training through comprehensive workshops with qualified Christian professionals, motivational and inspirational speakers, networking with hundreds of church professionals from across the nation, and vendor exhibits with trend setting products and services for the church administration professional. 2. NACBA Fellow In Church Business Administration Program (FCBA)
The certification process to become an FCBA involves two weeks of classes for each of the two sessions at any of the six participating institutions throughout the U>S. Subjects cover major areas of concern and interest for the administrator. An approved research project must be completed along with other requirements as stipulated. Certification as an FCBA is rewarding because it:
  • Enhances professional standing
  • Confers credibility
  • Offers education in areas of weakness
  • Updates knowledge in areas of strength
  • Develops a national network of peers who serve as resources for information and support

3. NACBA Press
Through our publishing arm, NACBA Press, we provide many excellent resources for the local church. They includes:

5. NACBA Placement Service
NACBA Placement Service works in two ways:
  1. The monthly NACBA-gram Career Opportunities section as well as our web site lists church openings for administrators. Any church of a Christian faith may list, free of charge.
  2. Administrators who request this service receive the NACBA-gram and may periodically check our web site for the latest information available regarding career opportunities. There is no charge for this service because our goal is to assist individuals in obtaining employment as church business administrators and thereby gain valuable new national members.
Project Library
NACBA has a lending library with more than 400 projects and research in the areas of church accounting, congregational leadership development, staff performance improvement/multi-staff development, information systems management, legal and tax matters, office management, personnel management, policies/procedures and operations manuals, policy/Christian perspectives, property management, public relations, risk management stewardship/financial management, strategic planning and time management.
